feelers

i've been a very hungry squid

faintest smell of a meal

and i send all my tentacles

in all directions

hard to swim this way

now i will float through slow

enjoy the purple sun of depths

hear the ocean echoes

rest my feelers

be hungry while i

consider the best source

of nourishment
